Brian Ellis – Chairperson
Brian Ellis is a native of Dublin. He is married with three adult children. He received his early education at St Vincents C.B.S. Glasnevin, at University College Cork and later at University College Dublin and All Hallows College, Dublin where he received a BA in Theology and Philosophy in 1998. He pursued graduate studies at the Pontifical University in Maynooth where he was awarded his masters degree, M.Th. in 2000. He has studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in which he has a practitioner’s diploma, and the applications of Personal Construct Psychology to the understanding of people at work. He has trained as a corporate trainer with the Irish Management Institute. He has also trained with Oxford Psychologists Press with whom he is licensed to practice as a coach of individuals or teams using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. He lectured in Theology on the BA program at Dublin City University- All Hallows College.
Brian managed his own Logistics business for 21 Years. During this period he developed his philosophy and practices at whole person management and customer relationship management in the logistics field. He retired from the Logistics business in 2001 and commenced a career as a management consultant focussed on the following areas:
Conducting workshops in Holistic Management and Emotional/Spiritual Intelligence in the workplace as a process for improving creativity, personal growth and enhanced performance within organisations.
One to one management coaching to owner managers or executives, managers and staff of enterprises across the spectrum of organisations in the profit and not for profit sectors.
Coaching of individuals and groups in the fields of personal growth, career development, interpersonal relationships with colleagues and clients, management competencies and team dynamics using the Myers Briggs type Indicator.
Therapeutic support to individuals and groups endeavouring to cope with personal crises e.g. Substance abuse.
Recent clients include, AIB Bank (HR Dept, Dublin Business Centre, Strategy Development Unit), The Office of the Ombudsman, Focus Ireland, National Institute for Training in Logistics, FAS (Drug Rehabilitation Program), The Samaritans, Advanced Organisation Development Ltd, Dr. S. Brophy and Associates, individual clients in organisations e.g. AIB Bank, Irish Life and Permanent/ TSB, The Food Safety Authority, The Revenue Commissioners, the Society of Jesus, Coaching Options, and Enterprise-Ireland.
He has a deep interest in the area of foster care of children and was founding chairman of the Irish Foster Care Association.
Paul Lambert – Director, Company Secretary
Paul has lived in the area for 32 years and has been involved with the Youth Project since 2001. He is a father of five children who have all been involved in the Project at some stage. Paul is also a Director and Company Secretary of the Donnycarney Community & Youth Centre.
As a Senior Staff Officer with Dublin City Council he has wide experience of life in different communities throughout Dublin. He has completed courses and training programmes in areas such as community development, staff management, HR and Health & Safety
